Call me lame or whatever but I never learned how to play pool in my life. I had a weird left-handed stroke and I concluded it was never my cup of tea. But I still watch a lot pool, especially major live events, when it’s on TV and you’re looking at one of the reasons why: Yu Ram Cha.
The 27-year-old Incheon-born Yu Ram is a combination of beauty, skill, and grace winning both the nine and ten-ball singles at the 2013 Asian Indoor Games. And even if she’s the world’s worst pocketer, I’d still be a fan.
15.) Alicia Quinn
Sorry guys, I don’t want to keep your hopes up, so I’ll let it out my chest: SHE’S MARRIED!!! There.
Born Alicia Sacramone, the super gymnast won countless medals when she was still in active competition, the last one in the 2008 Olympics where she bagged silver. Alicia also did some gigs here and there for magazines and is known for her fiery disposition and sometimes blunt comments in interviews. Adds to her appeal, if you ask me.
14.) Hilary Knight
“Life’s a beach I’m just playin’ in the saaaand,” so goes U.S. Olympic Hockey team forward Hilary Knight’s Instagram account. She had me at “life”.
13.) Gina Carano
Gina Carano hasn’t electrified fans in an MMA setting for quite some time now but the ravishing 32-year-old Texas native insists she’s not retired. But even if she is, I’ll still go out of my way to include her here. That’s how pretty Gina Joy is.
12.) Anna Rawson
If every golfer looks as hot as Anna Rawson is, it would be the world’s most-watched sport, period.
11.) Alissa Czisney
Talking about beauty and brains, the 27-year-old figure skater is a summa cum laude graduate at Bowling Green State University and is fluent in both French and Russian. What’s the French and Russian word for “beautiful”?
10.) Alyson Dudek
Judging by looks alone, Alyson Dudek warrants a spot here even if she plays jackstones or something. But then again, she is a two-time Bronze medalist in short track speed skating winning in the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 World Championships.
9.) Beatriz and Branca Feres
feres
Twice as stunning and twice as nice, identical twins Beatriz and Branca Feres competes as synchronized swimmers for Brazil. And if they aren’t busy swimming like tunas they also work as models, which is pretty much a given, if you look like that.
8.) Danica Patrick
Only the fourth woman ever to race in the Indy 500, Danica Patrick is an unmistakable figure in the race track despite her 5-foot-2, 100-lb frame. She earned a whopping 5 million bucks in 2007 for endorsements alone, and you can see five million reasons why.
7.) Ronda Rousey
Probably the best woman fighter in the planet, “Rowdy” Ronda is a fourth-degree judo black belt and competed as the youngest judoka in the 2008 Olympics at the age of 17. If you wanna turn this blonde bombshell’s head, you do one thing: compliment her on how smart she is. Really, she said it’s a turn-on.
6.) Caroline Wozniacki
And so are you Caroline. So are you.
5.) Alana Blanchard
Alana is the epitome of a hot beach surfer girl and that’s exactly what she is. The 24-year-old Hawaii-born Blanchard also designs Rip Curl bikinis in her spare time, which, for her, should be the easiest job ever.
4.) Shanelle Loraine
I said Yu Ram Cha is one of the reasons why I watch billiards? Well, you’re looking at the other.
3.) Maria Sharapova
Could be the most popular personality in this list, Maria Sharapova is an absolute smokescreen who is as good in tennis as she is beautiful. The Russian is formerly the world’s number one and boasted titles in the four Majors including twice at Roland Garros. She has slowed down thus far because of various injuries but as long as that face remains unharmed, I say who cares?
2.) Sally Fitzgibbons
“Fitzy”, as she is affectionately called in the surfing circles, is one of the girls you don’t mind looking at even if she’s sunburned. She holds the record for being the youngest World Surfing Tour qualifier at 18 and once beat 4-time champion Stephanie Gilmore in 2012 to win the Rip Curl Pro.
1. Ana Ivanovic
Aside from my acknowledged bias on brunettes, there really is no question why I put Ana Ivanovic here. Is it just me or does the girl looks like the Yugoslav version of Catherine Zeta-Jones? How can I go wrong with that?
